I did NOT get totally and utterly addicted to Twitter this weekend! I have not been resisting it and I did not finally give in. I am absolutely not enjoying it!

I also did not try for quite a while to get some cute pics of the TRex and Snappy...

They are NOT both crazy!

We did not go to a birthday party for hubby's cute little niece. The kids did not have fun. None whatsoever.

Nope, TRex did not have fun with his cousins!

Snappy did not tote that puppy around the whole time!

We did not have a really fun weekend! Not us!

The man works long hours

provides for his family

dotes on his daughter

his son thinks he's Superman (so do I)

doctors the pets

makes us all laugh

keeps us safe

saves the day

fixes toys

solves problems

rocks babies to sleep

dries tears

calms fears

gives guidance

fills our hearts with joy and love

and we are so lucky he's ours.

Happy Father's Day to the love of my life and the father of my beautiful children.

And Happy Father's Day to all the Daddies out there who find time to be a real life Superman to a child!

Those parents out there know what that means! Those words you mutter to yourself through clenched teeth after being asked the same question for the umpteenth time or after cleaning up yet another wet spot on the floor (does it even matter any more if it is juice or dog pee?)

Cable? We don't need no steenkin cable!

We nixed our cable bill a long time ago. For a few years we've been living in the stone age of rabbit ears. Once the converter boxes hit shelves our lives got exciting with the addition of a couple more channels and clearer reception. It was plenty for us. We always got the major networks and PBS so we were perfectly happy.

Let me tell ya... I can't believe it took us so long to discover Netflix Watch Instantly!
I wouldn't bat an eye if the rabbit ears disintegrated!

A Thousand Words Thursday...

So, The Mom Jen over at Cheaper Than Therapy started this. I found it on one of my fave blogs, Two of a Kind, Working on a Full House. The premise is simple. Back to Business...

Hey everyone!

So, I've been off the grid for about a week, dealing with some family stuff. I'm ba-ack! So glad to be back at home and back to work! Man have I got a lot to do!!

We did sneak in a little fun in the past few days. We attended a wedding (Congrats Jamey and Amanda!), saw some family, and managed to be in the car an awful lot with zero nervous breakdowns! (moms on roadtrips can feel my pain!)

We've had a busy couple of weeks. The kids met yet another new cousin...
