We've always been fans of filtered water in our home. I suppose living places where the water was terrible forced us to come to that but, we enjoy having that filtered water in the fridge. We used to buy the jugs of water and my husband decided it was far more inexpensive to just go with the pitchers. We used one of the name brand pitchers that you find at all the major grocery stores for a long time. No complaints but, we've recently discovered how filtered that water really is.

Since becoming more of a domesticated housewife in the last few years, one of the things I've been looking forward to is taking baked goodies and homemade yummies to our holiday events on really cute plates and platters. If I'm going to spend the time to cook then I want it to look cute when I'm serving it too! Cuisinart Rice Plus Multi-Cooker

I got a new cooking appliance recently that I absolutely love. The Cuisinart Rice Plus Multi-Cooker is a complete cooking system. This appliance is practically fool-proof and definitely makes cooking easier. I have a slow cooker but, it doesn't steam rice. I have a vegetable steamer but, it doesn't cook soup.
