Hola! It's Friday...again. Time for the Fridayinest meme in the blogosphere! Head over to Mama M's and succumb to the peer pressure. You know you wanna. Go ahead. Do it!
I used to think there was such a thing as the "perfect mom" or "perfect housewife" or the "perfect relationship". I had friends that I was convinced were just that.
Then I got to know them better and realized that those things really do not exist.
That mom I thought was perfect has plenty of meltdowns and had a biter for almost 2 years when her son was small.
The couple I thought was perfect, split up because of cheating.
The woman I thought kept the perfect house confessed she had a maid... Continue reading...
Our weekend started with a visit from my nephew. My brother and sister-in-law went to see Iron Maiden on Friday night and we got to keep this super cutie...
The cutie went home and we all donned our swimsuits and headed to a birthday pool party. 0007's cousin's son turned one and the party was a blast.
TRex is really becoming quite the little fish.
It's a hard job to kick back by the pool but, somebody's gotta do it.
So, there was a thread started over in the BlogFrog community that I obsessively post in frequent getting us to post some pics of ourselves from a long time ago. Love the idea and the pics being posted are awesomely hilarious. Who doesn't love a good horrendous pic from decades ago?!

I don't have a scanner so, these look a little weird because I just took a picture of the picture.
Check out SupahMommy for more PINT and other cool schtuff.
Almost don't even wanna say that I'm glad it's over. It might still be lurking and waiting for me to let my guard down.
They obviously put out a mass douchebag call for this round of contestants. One should match up nicely with Ali's shallowness and annoyingly inappropriate laughter.
True story.
For realz. I'm getting damn excited about this. I'm stoked for the peeps who have put a firm yes down for the RSVP, hopeful for the maybe's and l... Continue reading...
Disclaimer: I kinda just realized how long winded I was in this episode of 5QF Vlogginess. Um, my bad! Though, it does make it more like you are actually hangin' with me. I'm fairly long winded. So, booyah.
Music has had such a profound influence in my life. I love how I can hear a song and be transported to another time, be flooded with memories, almost be able to make out the smells of the memories. For someone with a memory as bad as mine, music that can trigger those things are pure gold. I'd love to sit down one day and make out a "Soundtrack of My Life". What fun that would be but, oh what an undertaking.
And so, because I like to reminisce, talk about music and challenge others....
No matter what one's political affiliation may be or what your personal stance is on the wars our country finds itself in, my wish is that all Americans, regardless of race, gender, religion can remember every single day that our freedom is not free. It comes with a price that not all of us must pay.
There are certain people that rise up and say, "I will pay this price for you. I will put my life on the line for you and for what is right." They do it so that we don't have to. They do it, not ... Continue reading...
