We eat a lot of snacks in our house. As a health conscious woman and mom, I love to know that the snacks we are enjoying aren't entirely unhealthy. When I find something that we can snack on and I can feel good about, it's an ultimate score. That's why I have loved Snikiddy Snacks since my family first tried them over a year ago.

Did you know that the Scholastic Storybook Treasures DVD series has won more awards than any other contemporary children's video brand? After watching only one of these amazing DVDs, it's easy to see why. My kids have so many of them and they absolutely adore every single one. I love that these DVDs contain such wonderful and beloved stories and really encourage reading. My kids love that they are entertaining, contain music and read them their favorite stories while combining the reading with fun images and animations.
Recently, two new Scholastic Storybook Treasures DVDs were released. I'm sure you all know the stories Goodnight Moon and A Pocket for Corduroy. They are both well-known and have been loved by children for a long time. What's slightly different about these new DVDs is the incorporation of sign language into the entertaining stories.
Baby sign language has become an increasingly popular trend in the last few years. This series of DVDs helps build brain power and literacy skills in children ages 3 to 6. Each DVD has been created to enhance sign language learning and includes vocabulary sections and an interactive quiz on each story to build comprehension skills. Each DVD also features ASL fingerspelling and three best-selling stories enhanced by both vocal and ASL sign language narration.
It took my kids mere minutes to start picking up on the sign language. I change purses often. Because I'm a purse junkie, I have tons of different choices and like to give them all fair opportunity. It's nice to clean things out because my purse is usually in quite disarray. Changing purses can be a pain though because of the disarray. Back to School shopping is upon us. This is the first year we are having to go through all of this. My son will start kindergarten very soon and we're gearing up for all that entails.
