Due to personal reasons and a growing photography business, Lolidots is not longer blogging, running giveaways or doing product reviews. There are tons of other great giveaway blogs out there though! Thanks to my fans for 2 years of awesome support and a lot of fun!

You can find my photography and photography blog (that I try hard to keep up with) at brosgrafix.com and facebook.com/brosgrafix

Thanks!

I started buying hair bows for my daughter before she was born. There are definitely a ton of hair accessories out there. Recently, I came across a shop on Etsy and absolutely fell in love with the adorable and unique hair accessories.

The Monkey Moos is an Etsy shop that specializes in Kanzashi hair accessories. The term "kanzashi" ...

Buddy Tops

Posted by Robin . on Wednesday, December 15, 2010, In : Accessories
One of my absolute favorite things about winter is picking out new winter hats. I absolutely adore winter hats. It doesn't get super cold here but, it gets cold enough for us southerners to need to bundle up a bit. I always loved winter hats for me but, didn't realize until I had kids how fun it would be to dress them up in the cute winter gear. This year, my daughter has the cutest winter hat ever, thanks to Buddy Tops.

Seriously adorable, right?! I'm so in love with it.

Buddy Tops is an NYC b...

hip-T and Hoola Scarf GIVEAWAY CLOSED

Posted by Robin . on Sunday, October 10, 2010, In : Accessories
I'm generally most comfortable wearing jeans and pants that are incredibly low rise. As I've gotten older, my shirts have gotten longer but, bending over a zillion times per day to tend to small children or pick things up usually means that unless I'm wearing a shirt that goes past my bottom, I'm going to look like the guy who comes to fix your toilet. I've also found myself getting rid of shirts that I really love because they just aren't long enough for my tastes anymore.

Now, not only do I...

No Slippy Hair Clippy Giveaway CLOSED

Posted by Robin . on Tuesday, June 22, 2010, In : Accessories
GIVEAWAY IS CLOSED

I remember when I found out I was having a baby girl. Visions of pink, purses, painted nails and hair bows danced through my head. My daughter's first hair bows were headbands. Then, one day, a friend suggested No Slippy Hair Clippy to me. It changed everything I thought about hair bows.

No Slippy Hair Clippy was started in 2000 by a mom who, like me and many other moms, was tired of not being able to get a regular bow to stay in the super fine baby hair. The clips are lined...

Sunglass Warehouse CLOSED

GIVEAWAY IS CLOSED

I love me some cool shades. I used to be a very "play it safe" person with my accessories, especially my sunglasses. These days, I have fun with it and love all the funky styles that the celebs wear. Of course, I don't love the insane prices the celebs pay for their sunglasses. That's why now, in addition to loving me some cool shades, I love me some Sunglass Warehouse!

Sunglass Warehouse not only makes it easy to shop, they make it cheap! The prices are absolutely affordable...

THIS CONTEST IS NOW CLOSED

With the cooler weather here are you looking for a fashionable way to cover up your head? I love hats. I will be honest that usually I only love them on other people. I've never really liked the way most hats look on me and I'm super picky when I try them on. I recently found Felt Fancy, a shop on Etsy that has the cutest felt hats that are inspired by some of the hottest styles from the 1920s mixed with sassy patterns from today.

THIS CONTEST IS NOW CLOSED

I very rarely wear belts. I just don't really care for them. I generally have on shirts that are long enough to cover the top of my pants so I don't like the bulge under my shirt. The problem is that because I don't wear belts and I DO wear very low cute pants, I sit down and you can see down my pants and if I bend over...well you can really see down my pants. I'm definitely not the only one with this problem. The founder of the awesome company and product isABelt ha...

Bra Barrette CLOSED

Posted by Robin Haws on Monday, November 16, 2009, In : Accessories
THIS CONTEST IS NOW CLOSED

I have such a hard time with my bra straps in the summertime. Even in a tank that should cover my straps, I'm constantly pulling the straps and tucking them back in. I love racerback tanks but really don't want to buy a new bra for each different shaped tank top that I buy. What's a gal to do?

The Bra Barrette is a functional and decorative bra strap holder that keeps those straps from creeping out the sides of your shirt. The plastic is tinted so that the color won't...

One very lucky reader will win a $100 gift certificate to Eye Buy Direct!

I've worn glasses since 1988. For years and years I fought it. I got my contacts when I was a preteen and tried to never look back. These days, I'm pretty okay with it and wear my glasses often. Once you find a pair of glasses that you like, it's easy to wear them all the time. I honestly have never ever thought that I could be one of those people that buys their glasses online. I'm pickier abou...
