I remember when my kids were babies and we'd give them a bath. I figure it's pretty customary to lay a washcloth over their torsos to keep them warm while bathing. Serves it's purpose I suppose though, as they grow, the washcloth doesn't really cover all the important parts. When I found the Bath Luve I truly wished my kids were still infants!

What an amazing invention! Leave it to a mom to invent something so perfect for bathtime! Owner and designer, Amy Seckinger, was inspired by her son to create something that would make bathtime less fussy. The Bath Luve is an adorable animal shaped terry cloth towels that you lay over the baby to cover from their shoulders to their privates.


All you do is submerge the Bath Luve and drape it over your child's torso. When I got one of these Luves to try out I immediately took it over to see my brand-new nephew! My sister-in-law had been dealing with a Mr. Fussy at bathtime so she was totally on board to try something new. As usual, he was fussy when taking off his clothes and laying down in the tub. Once she put the frog on him he stopped fussing! He loved it! He was calm and relaxed for the entire bath! How cute is he!?!

It wasn't until my sister-in-law gave him a bath the next day that we realized we'd used the Luve upside down! The cute little back feet go on the shoulders. Though, it worked just fine this way!

This is a wonderful product for any new mom. I know it would be a fantastic baby shower gift too!

Bath Luve offers three designs. Frog, Fish and Duck. Too cute! In addition, Bath Luve now offers the Bath Luve Buddy. This is a soft toy that coordinates with the Luve and can be used to continue to add water to the Bath Luve without having to remove it from the child. It can also be used to wash the baby and, as they get older, what a great bath toy!
